Section 45V offers 10 years of performance-based
tax credits for low-carbon hydrogen production.
Facilities producing hydrogen with emissions under 0.45 kg CO₂ per kg of H₂ can qualify for the maximum credit value with Prevailing Wage and Apprenticeship compliance.
Even without PWA compliance, producers earn $0.12 to $0.60 per kg based on verified lifecycle emissions.
Facilities are eligible for credits for 10 years after the placed in-service date, creating long-term incentives for your hydrogen investments.
Hydrogen used or sold in the U.S. operations is eligible.
Federal rules require lifecycle emissions to be verified by an accredited third party. ABGi coordinates with trusted verifiers like the California Air Resources Board (CARB) and the American National Standards Institute (ANAB) to ensure full compliance.
